The swing set...

It was a beautiful day in Virginia Beach today! So hard to believe it's November! No boots, no coats, not even a sweater in sight! Many people are still in shorts, tank tops and flip flops. Today I decided to take advantage of the weather and take my grandson J to the park.

I've introduced J to the swings as well as the slide and it appears he's a child after Gma's heart!! The giggles he shares while enjoying the swings is music to my soul! The child in me springs forth while sharing this simple joy with him. I hope that it's something we will do often as he grows.

Today J's nap decided to make an early appearance.....only a half block from the park and he was sound asleep! No swing today but that's ok. I had the pleasure of a wonderful 3 mile walk, pushing the stroller with my precious grandson J sound asleep. What a wonderful day!

In the beginning...

I've finally gone and done it! After thinking about starting a blog for at least 5 years I have taken the plunge. I have no idea where this will go....but I am sure that it will be an interesting journey. My intentions are to cover a wide range of topics but always topics that I care about...topics that touch KimmiesCornerOfTheWorld! Faith, family, friends, food & quilting of course. I look forward to reading back through future archives to see who, what & where I've written about!
